The Mentes Rebreather from
the czech republic uses electronics from
Jurgenson Marine. The mechanical construction of the head of the
rebreather is based on a sensor chamber fitted with a water trap. The
construction of the head is made in such a manner that
both breathing hoses - for in
and out breathing – lead to a nozzle that is
located on the side of the head of
rebreather. This is done thanks to small channel inside the head. In
rebreather a radial scrubber of own construction is used. It is made from Delrin
and stainless steel. The radial scrubber has pressure plate on springs and the
plate presses the absorbent so it helps for a better filling of the scrubber
with the absorbent. Electronics are located in a case made from Delrin, and the
cover plate is from Dural. The control and handling is done via piezo-switches.
More on construction can be seen here on detailed pictures of the unit
