Operating principle:
The OxyNG 2 is a closed circuit diving set
using pure oxygen. It operates on the “demand” principle. It consists of
a front-mounted rigid outer shell enclosing the absorbent cartridge, the
oxygen cylinder, and the counterlung. Oxygen is automatically replaced
as it is consumed. The circulation of gas is ensured by a set of two
valves.
Special Features:
The apparatus is Non Magnetic (to NATO standards). No special tools are
required for its regular maintenance. The OxyNG 2 is fitted with a
supplementary by-pass system allowing an additional flow of oxygen on
demand. The 2C version id fitted with a 2 L cylinder, centred on the
canister, which gives 4 hours duration.
