A special feature on the LAR III to compare the model to the LARII is that
there is an extra valve on the upper left side of the rig. Who nows why
this feature is made this way ?
Recently I was informed by Robert Fondren the
following information:
That valve at the top of the LAR-III controls the
breathing resistance necessary to actuate the built-in gas-addition
valve/ O2 purge button on the front anatomical-right of the LAR-III.
This knob is very useful!
thanks Robert for this additional info! (11-04-2009)
