The device is developed in 1963 as a closed
circuit rebreather with regeneration of an exhaled gas mix and is intended
for long stay on small depths and short-term stay on depth up to 40 meters.
Long stay under water is provided with a large volume of regenerative
substance O3 (3,3 kg), HPI (1,2 kg), and also a stock of the compressed
oxygen and a nitrox mix. Specificity of application for the device has
demanded it to work without bubbles on a constant depth. Structurally this
has been achieved by switching the cartridges automatically. The
device has no rigid case, it is made of non magnetic materials. |
