Just to let you know, there is an updated
LAR V or MK25 MOD2B. It has a new pressure reducer design (lower cost),
new breathing bag constructed of
urethane-coated nylon material that is ultrasonically welded,
plastic shroud, plastic scrubber and new strap designs. It may still be
being tested at this time or could me in mass production by now. This
makes the original LAR V more desirable as a collectors item than current
models being that it has hand-made fiberglass shroud and scrubber and more
expensive pressure reducer. Here are some pics of the new or updated LAR
V.
