I am very proud to introduce you the
"OXYGEN REBREATHER DATABASE". It really has been a BIG job to
collect all these data. I worked 5 years on this one. Many people
cooperated to this collection. For good understanding of the working
principle of oxygen rebreathers,
please look at
these explanatory pages.
If you want to see some funny aspects of oxygen rebreathers check out

Still looking for identification of some units, please check
this page
The purpose of this database is
to have an inventory of oxygen rebreathers all around the world. It
also is a 'growing' database. Its size depends on the knowledge of
its readers. My goal is to produce a profound source of all oxygen
rebreathers ever produced. Of course there are many more rebreathers than
listed here. If you have additional information to share please let me
know! There are also figures that give an indication how much is
known about the specific type. '10' means all specifications are known,
'0' means completely blank. On every rebreather there is a page, and a photo
page
if photos are available. If you sent me new information, your name and link will be
given due credit to. If I used a picture without permission please let me
know, so I may remove it or give due credit to same.
Some oxygen rebreathers have semi-closed characteristics, but are
mentioned when they are part of a series or for other reasons. Also part of
the collection are rebreathers with Superoxide oxygen production. There are
several mine rescue rebreathers and Fire Fighting rebreathers.
For all information, corrections and photo's please forward to
jw.bech@quicknet.nl
If for any reason credits are missing please let me know.
I want to
thank all people who
cooperated to make this list available, thanks!
OK; this is how it works:
